An Intense 5-Move Upper Body Park Workout

If you are looking to build a bigger chest, whilst at the same time working your arms and abs muscles, Matt Gardner has just created a new workout video that involves 5 simple, but intense exercises that will really destroy your upper body.

These moves can all be performed in your local park (providing that they have the right equipment), and the good thing is that you only need to do 5 reps of each one. However if you watch the video below, and try to perform these exercises yourself, you will know that they are not as easy as they look:

This workout basically involves the following exercises (with no rest periods between each one):

Muscle Ups

This is arguably the hardest exercise of the lot, which is why it is performed right at the beginning, and basically involves hanging on a bar and lifting yourself right up above the bar as far as possible until your arms are fully extended.

One-Arm Push-Ups

As the name suggests, this exercise involves 5 one-arm push-ups (on each arm), and as you will discover for yourself, this is much more difficult to do than a conventional two-arm push-up.

Front Levers

This simple-looking exercise requires you to hang from a bar and raise your legs up as high as possible, keeping them as straight as you possibly can.

Scorpion Push-Ups

This is another variation of the push-up that is much harder than a standard push-up because you need to throw your opposing leg over your body, and use a lot more strength to lift yourself off the ground.

Bar Jumps

This exercise might be a little hard for some people to do because many parks might not have the right kind of bars, but this final exercise basically requires you to hang from a bar, jump up and grab a higher bar before dropping to the start position once more.
